A variety of classroom and school-wide assessments are given throughout the school year to measure academic progress. While these assessments provide useful information to educate students, the assessments do not tell us everything about a student and the potential they possess. The students of the Pillager School District are certainly more than a "test score" and will be treated as such.
The assessments that students take are indicated below:
NWEA (Measures of Academic Progress): Grades 2-8
ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery): Grade 10, 11, or 12 (optional)
ACT + Writing: Grade 11
MCA Reading: Grade 3-8, 10
MCA Mathematics: Grade 3-8, 11
MCA Science: Grade 5, 8, HS after completion of a Life Science course
