MS Band/Choir schedule: Week B

It’s tutoring Tuesday! Stop in during your lunch for homework help, studying for a test, editing a paper or anything other academic needs. New locations: Mrs. Trout’s room during split lunch, Ms. Prax’s room during second lunch.

JH boys basketball players, please meet with Coach Homan today on your way to lunch in the MS commons.

CC traveling to Blueberry Hills in Deer River. Dismiss 1:30, leave 1:45.

Volleyball vs Staples Motley. JH 4:30, C 4:45, JV 6:00, V 7:30.

Tonight’s volleyball game and Friday’s football game will both be broadcast on CASH 95.9 and rjbroadcasting.com

Wednesday: Ugly Christmas Sweater Day, Thursday: Class Color Day and Friday is Husky Pride Day

Class colors: Seniors- Black, Juniors- White, Sophomores- Purple, Freshman- Blue, 8th grade- Green, 7th grade- Red, 6th grade- Orange, 5th grade- Yellow.

Early bird yearbook orders are due to Mr. Pederson in Room 354 by October 1st to secure the $37 dollar price. After October 1st the price goes up to $45.

Homecoming buttons are now available either before school or during lunch. Buttons are $3 and will get you into the dance for free or it’s $6 at the door.

Students who owe hours will not be allowed to participate in any Homecoming activities. Hours need to be made up after school in the HS commons.

MS dance 4:30-6:30 and HS dance 9:30-11:30 this Friday. Pizza and pop will be for sale. MS students are not allowed to bring a guest. HS students who wish to bring a guest need approval by Wednesday.  

9-12 grade boys please see Coach Homan or Coach Berent to get a shoe package sheet.

Thursday: grades 9-11 need to stay in the HS gym after the festivities for a photo.

Juniors: Class dues of $5 need to be paid to Lauren or Mrs. Hutch by next Friday, September 28.


Homecoming 2018 long and short sleeve T shirts are available for purchase.

Auditions for Chamber Singers and Women's Ensemble are this week, Tuesday through Thursday, in the Choir Room. Sign-up and Info on the inside of the Choir Room door.

Anyone interested in participating in One Act should see Mrs. Trout in Room 704 on Wednesday, September 26th at 3:15.

Seniors: The group photo will be taken on Friday, September 28. You will depart from the HS commons at 8:30 to go to Craguns.

Juniors: Reality Store forms are due to the office by Oct. 5. See Mrs. Turner or Mrs. Hutchison if you have questions or need a form.

Seniors: If you would like to participate in Reality Store on October 24, see Mrs. Turner for a form.  They must be turned in by Oct. 5.

Senior and baby pictures are due October 12. Bring or email your photos to Mr. Pederson in Room 354 bpederson@isd116.org.

MN State University-Moorhead will be coming to the Pillager campus on Thursday, October 11th at 11:00 am. Monday, November 19th, Bemidji State University will be on the Pillager campus at 10:00 am. Students interested in visiting with a rep can sign up in the high school office.
