College Knowledge for the Month of October
During the month of October, participating colleges offer incoming students the opportunity to apply to college for free!  Some colleges offer this free opportunity during a designated week in October, while some offer it the entire month of October.  An email was sent to you with the participating colleges.
If you have questions about college, need help setting up a college visit, or need help with the application process please don't hesitate to come see me or Ms. Sjoblad. We are more than happy to help you.  As a reminder, Ms. Sjoblad is available Monday and Wednesday all day.  You may sign up to see her outside her door (room 700).
During the application process you will need to submit your most recent high school transcript.  Please make sure you print off the release form off of my website.  I am not able to send your transcript without the form filled out and returned to me.

Girls In Trade VIP Tour at CLC
Last year, CLC hosted the "Girls in Trades" VIP Tour.  Seven girls from the area toured the CLC campus from 9-12PM, and included tours in Welding, Natural Resources, Automotive, Ag, and Small Gas Engine programs.  CLC provided transportation and lunch.  Girls were able to visit classrooms and labs, spoke with current students in the program, and had the opportunity to speak with faculty and staff.
CLC would like to host another tour this fall on Thursday, November 16th if there is enough interest.  The tour would be open to junior and senior girls.  If you are interested in attending the tour, please email me as soon as possible and I can get you on the list.  I am hopeful we will have enough students throughout the area to hold the event!
