Pillager Public
Schools, Independent School District#116, is a Pre-Kindergarten
through 12th grade public school district which serves students from
Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, and Todd Counties. District 116 has
four learning centers, all located in the same building, an Early
Childhood Center, Elementary School, Middle School-concept program, and
High School - with a total enrollment of about 1200 (K-12) students. Pillager is
located near the center (longitude and latitude) of the state
of Minnesota. The beautiful northwoods of Minnesota, the Pillager area and nearby Brainerd Lakes area have many benefits for growing families.
Pillager is very fortunate to offer the benefits of a small school district:
* Small class sizes.
* Closer connection to teachers and staff.
* Greater possibility of extra-curricular involvement.
The Pillager Public School District offers a range of courses to meet
the needs of all its students. Accelerated classes, foreign language,
fine arts, and academic support programs are provided to enable all
students to succeed in school. Students may participate in physical
education and music programs through their entire educational careers
at Pillager.
