The Business Department oversees day-to-day activities including processing payables, receivables and student activity transactions. The staff monitors activity to ensure funds spent are within guidelines established by the School Board and the approved budget. The Business Department is also responsible for ensuring that all expenditures are in compliance with Minnesota statutes. This department is responsible for meeting deadlines associated with submission of financial data to the Minnesota Department of Education.
